Prevention is key. We provide full exams, cleanings, oral hygiene instruction, and treatment in a variety of methods to best meet your child’s needs. When treatment is necessary to treat cavities or other needs, Dr. Brett and Dr. Grady will discuss with you the best treatment options for your child.
Our doctors have extensive training in treating infants, children and adolescence of all types of special needs and medical conditions. Often times it can take several visits before children feel comfortable and safe, and that’s okay.
This is the future of dentistry! Dr. Brett and Dr. Grady have extensive training in laser dentistry, and are certified through the World Clinical Laser Institute (WCLI).
Sometimes children need a little extra help to have their treatment completed. Sedation is a very safe and often very effective option. Our doctors will talk with you to decide if this may be right for your child. Your child’s safety is our number one priority, and we do everything to ensure this.
With kids and adolescents playing sports, riding bikes, swimming, jumping on trampolines, and much more – trauma to permanent teeth is common. If a permanent tooth is knocked out, severely chipped, or displaced, immediate action is required. If possible, put the tooth back in the socket, carefully holding it only by the crown (top of the tooth) and rinse off any debris. Call the office right away.
Tongue Tie Laser
A tongue tie is a condition where lips and tongues are held too tight by the frenum (the ligament that attaches your lips and your tongue to your gum and jaw bone). Dr. Brett and Dr. Grady are specially trained for tongue tie release laser surgery.
